Daytona Beach World Rocketry Challenge (WRC) is an annual event held in Daytona Beach, Florida, and hosted by the National Association of Rocketry (NAR). Since established in 1997, the WRC has grown into a premier event for competitive rocketry teams from around the world.

The Florida Department of Corrections (DOC) administers a variety of inmate visiting programs and applications for inmates in Daytona Beach Work Release Center (WRC). The Daytona Beach WRC allows non-contact visits only, for individuals that apply and are approved. Visitors must be 18 years of age or older, complete the application, provide valid identification, and show proof of residence.

The application includes basic identifying information about the visitor, such as name, address, social security number, and other identifying numbers (if applicable). Personal references may be requested, and additional four documents must be provided to complete the application: (1) a color photo; (2) valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license); (3) proof of address (e.g., utility bill); and (4) proof of relationship (e.g., birth certificate).
Fingerprinting sessions can be scheduled with the Intake Unit after the application is approved. Scheduling for fingerprinting can take place for individuals who are approved for visitations, after submitting an orientation form to the Intake Unit.
